Personal care is there to support our clients to live as independently as possible within their own home.
Our carers can provide support in a multitude of areas outside of personal care too. They’re also trained to administer medication, help those with limited mobility to move safely around the home (Using hoists and supports) can prepare meals, complete simple household duties and even offer companionship, ongoing support and encouragement, so that you can meet goals and enjoy a fulfilling and independent lifestyle from within your own home.
We will build the care we provide into how you like to live, from eating to bathing times- so that your normal routine is not interrupted. Our helpful carers will support your wishes.
Bathing and showering, including bed-baths
Applying lotions and creams as required
Dressing and getting ready for the day and/or bed
Oral hygiene
Applying make-up, and hair care
Support with shaving
Foot care, especially if you are diabetic need to be extra vigilant with your feet
Helping you to the toilet, including using a commode or bed pan
Changing continence pads, along with cleaning intimate areas
Support moving position in bed, to stretch and prevent bed sores
Changing or maintaining a stoma or catheter bag, or other form of clinical intervention
